Salt & Pepper
Proprietors Bridgette Gordon and Tiffany Greenlee first visioned the restaurant as childhood friends. After graduating from ETSU in 2009, I had a hard time finding a steady job that could support my family in the current economic state. Tiffany was also having the same problem, so we sat down and came up with a business plan based around the theme and name we had dreamed up more than 20 years ago. In September, we took that plan to a local bank and applied for a business loan. Today, that dream becomes a reality, said Gordon. Items on the menu include fried green tomatoes, chicken livers, fish and grits, hot wings, chicken and waffles, and a host of other soul food entrees. The restaurant will also feature a host of classic and authentic southern style foods such as; hand breaded chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and hand crafted pound burgers served with a variety of flavors, toppings, and sides. Tiffany Greenlee said, Bridgette and I both learned how to cook at home with our mothers and grandmothers. We believe that Salt N Pepper is the perfect restaurant concept to add to the vitality and different tastes in the Tri-Cities area. If you're looking for some comfort food served in a relaxed and welcoming setting, then this a place that you and your friends and family are sure to enjoy! The restaurant will also offer catering services and take out items including entrees and custom deserts and pies.
