Owner Marie Bishop-Brinson is offering a fine dining menu of lobster tail, lamb chops, beef wellington and other high-end entrees Tuesday-Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Entrees range in price from $19 to $30. Appetizers start at $6. To compliment the after-hours experience in the downtown historic district, Brinson is adding Rome's first wine bar, which will include exclusive wines only available in Rome at La Maries. he week day lunch menu and tea service might look familiar. For the past seven years George Kastanias operated a recently closed tea room restaurant at 501 Broad Street. Now Kastanias has brought his Victorian Rose Tea Room favorites to La Maries. Lunch hours are Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Lunch prices remain in the $7 to $12 range. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are always welcome.
